Due to the recent update from Suffolk County Council, the payscales included on the 2019/20 Support Staff Spreadsheet do not agree with the rates that the Council have adopted. This is due to SCC’s approach to NOT include the additional new 5 points on the payscale which were originally included in the NJC rates.
To update your staffing spreadsheet, we have created a table which you can copy and paste into the ‘Payscale 2019’ tab of your staffing spreadsheets. This will automatically update costings throughout the spreadsheet. You may wish to review the points your employees are on to make sure they have progressed to the correct point from the old payscale. A table showing how this progression will now look has been included on the spreadsheet.
