This will depend on what the points were for and if they will be transporting passengers. The Headteacher will need to carry out a risk assessment.
If a driver has under 6 points any claims have an excess of £250. If a driver has 6 points or over any claims have an excess of £1000. If the 6 points were received in one endorsement the driver is not insured to transport passengers. However they can drive other SCC vehicles subject to the approval of the Headteacher/Manager.
