Funding for LA maintained schools is paid as a monthly Budget Share direct to the school's bank account by the Local Authority.
The school will receive an annual payments schedule. The first budget share payment is adjusted to take account of up front charges/incomes; the remaining balance will be paid in 11 equal monthly payments.
The budget share will appear on the Weekly Reconciliation and will need to be processed as a Fund to Bank journal.
