The school should initially read through the Purchase Card Guidance to gain an understanding of the procedures and safeguards that will need to be introduced if the school obtains Purchase Cards. 

Once reading this, school can begin the application process by emailing the Schools' Accountancy Team on sat@suffolk.gov.uk or phoning 01473 265626

The Schools Accountancy Team will be available for guidance on the application process and the subsequent administration and management of the purchasing cards.
