Oracle is Suffolk County Council's financial management system and holds the prime financial record of each LA maintained school. The balance held on Oracle at year-end will be the school's published Outturn balance for the Section 251 Outturn.
The school's FMS system must be reconciled periodically to the SCC Oracle system to ensure that they agree. Variances should be investigated and resolved and any significant issues reported to the school's management.
