The accounting officer (ie. principal or chief executive) is accountable for the trust's financial affairs, for keeping proper financial records and the management of opportunities and risks. The delivery of detailed accounting processes may be delegated to the chief financial officer.
The completed AAR file must be signed off by the Accounting Officer and audited by the external auditor before submission .
